Brightside Babysitter

Hi there! My name is Kara. I’m an independent and cheerful individual with plenty of experience handling the little ones. I come prepared with a plethora of fun activities including arts and crafts, baking and cooking, and sports and games for the more energetic littles. I have experience assisting neurodivergent children in finding strategies that work for their sparkle.

I look forward to hearing from you and your mini humans in the future. See you soon! : )

Get to know me

Professionally: I’ve done a lot of work with children of all ages (from 1 to 12) through my volunteering with Bonsor Recreation Complex and South Slope Elementary School, and babysitting for family and friends. At South Slope I work primarily with neurodivergent children and those who need a little extra help. I love spending time with the little ones. I’m able to keep them entertained, fed, and out of harm while keeping up with the mess they tend to leave along the way.

Personally: I’m a very bubbly individual. I value my family and friends above all else. I love anything to do with the arts, from singing and dancing, to painting and sewing. I really enjoy my time in the kitchen, usually baking. I’d have to say that with a recipe, I’m a pretty good cook too.
